The following is a list of hardware that has been tested with EPOS-Excel. Please note however that this list is a guide only and we can never guarantee compatibility. Most items on the list are based on customer recommendations and have not been tested "in house". We have not listed any barcode scanners here as ALL standard scanners should be compatible with the software regardless of interface type.

As a general rule, any touch screen that has driver support for the Windows operating system should be compatible with EPOS-Excel. Supported resolutions are 800x600 and 1024x768. You can use higher resolutions but EPOS-Excel will run in a smaller window. |

All models that use the Posiflex "Virtual COM Driver" should be able to interface with EPOS-Excel. This driver creates an extra serial port on your machine. In EPOS-Excel you simply need to use the 'Direct Serial I/O' mode and select the appropriate COM port. |
